More than 20,000 congregants performed Aidiladha prayers at the Putra Mosque, Putrajaya.

This is the first Aidiladha prayer for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim since taking over the country's administration in November last year.

This is Anwar's first Aidiladha prayer with the people of Putrajaya since he took over the helm of the country's administration.

Anwar tonight joined in a congregation of over 2,000 people in a solat hajat and Yasin recital in conjunction with the "Munajat Ambang Tahun Baru 2023" programme at the Putra Mosque, Putrajaya.

Jakim is inviting the public to the "Munajat Ambang Tahun Baru 2023" with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim programme at the Putra Mosque tomorrow.

The programme was held in conjunction with Ismail Sabri's one year at the helm of the government.

The Putra Mosque will be closed for a year due to repair and upgrading work of the main dome by the Public Works Department.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin tonight joined over 200 congregation members to perform the solat hajat (prayer of needs).

Gombak MP Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said he met former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad at Putra Mosque in Putrajaya on Friday just to say hello and wish him 'Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha'.

The prayer session was led by the Grand Imam of the Putra Mosque, Datuk Abd Manaf Mat.

The national celebrations themed 'Perpaduan Nadi Transformasi Negara' (Unity, the Pulse of National Transformation)was held at the Putra Mosque in Putrajaya.

The delegation, headed by the Grand Imam of the Putra Mosque, would help with the funeral rites of the victims.
